Friends in-game status

the older client you were able to put your cursor of a friends name on your list and it would give you information on their status like if they were in game it would tell you what kind of game "ranked" and whom they maybe be playing with am in-game timer on how long they have been playing it for. Howver since this last update i can not see this information anymore.. I have tried relogging twice in case it was on my end.. So far no change...
