There's an Exploit currently on the live servers that allows one to throw Thresh Lanterns globally by using Death Sentance (Q) then using lantern anywhere on the map.

Provides global Vision for 4s anywhere the lantern is

please disable thresh, this is pretty Gamebreaking

No doubt this is going to get hot fixed soon.

But for the moment, every Thresh main is laughing manically and thinking of what kind of trolly things they can do to those junglers who keep trying to gank them.

So is the lantern range being calculated from the spot thresh would have been at if he had hit something with his hook and activated it again?

As of the time of the post, I could not replicate this. It may have been patched in the 21 hours since this was originally posted.

Edit: Others testing have confirmation of this still occuring.

I tested this if you cast w at perfect timing outside of w leash range it creates vision with no lantern, if you cast w without perfect timing it is cast immediately at q range(which is longer than w cast range). The timing is about 1 second after using Q(right when the hook retracts slightly before disappearing).

They won't disable him. Riot loves to leave their prized puppies enabled no matter what. This is a disgusting bug and Thresh should be disabled immediately. But of course, he's still live. And to think, people are grinding out ranked to try and hit their goals while this shit is live.
