Lee Sin and Redemption

Dividious··2 votes·575 views

Hey, I was just playing around in practice tool to see if it was viable to make a Lee Sin support build, and I noticed that (at least in the tooltip) his shield doesn't increase on himself or allies when he has redemption vs. when he doesn't. I'm pretty sure this is a bug or something of the like.

I feel there's something I'm not understanding here. Lee Sin's safeguard scales with AP and Redemption doesn't give any.

Redemption's passive is ""UNIQUE: +10% bonus healing and shielding power."" Regardless of the scaling it increases the strength of heals and shields.

Ah! MB, I haven't been playing support that much lately.

Hrm...I feel like you should manually test that, as I'm not sure these bonuses are reflected in the abilities' scaling per se, but they are factored into the effect. (Aka, the tooltip won't show it, but when you shield someone, the item's effect takes place and adds the 10%).

In a nutshell, it really depends how these items' effects are coded.

I play Janna a lot and it is reflected in the way that I used it in the links I provided. If it's similar to the way that is coded it should have showed up.

Edit: if the links aren't working please tell me so I can figure something out
