Riot games.com bug- Authorisation error?

I had a bug yesterday with the boards and RIotgames.com. I was unable to post, create etc., etc. What I think happened was some of the authorisation checks failed and left me in a state of limbo. (I fixed it by clearing the cookies.-- I suspect the error was initiated by using private browsing in safari and with respect to the 'I am not a Robot' feature)

Things that indicated to me that the authorisation checks half went through.

In the top right corner where the summoner name is, there was a generic "my account' and my region. The drop down menu in the righthand corner failed to include boards profile, but did include everything else. It did include match history and settings though. The settings were correct and linked to my account. The match history pumped out an authorisation error.

When I went to boards to post the 'login to join discussion' was removed. I could write and type, but the posting was blocked. When doing this it still registered that it was me with the 'posting as <summoner name> <region>' thing working.

Similarly I could not submit a ticket. I was going to use the reclaim my account to work around the lack of access.

Another error that would sometimes appear was the unsupported by region- That would occur even when on the OCE riot games site

Logging out and in did not help. When trying to log in one of two things happened. Either I was semi allowed in with the above happening. Or logging in led to auto logging out. Then back to auto logging in. Then it would spit out an unknown error page. Of note for when I was logging in, the 'I am not a Robot' feature did not appear (in either case)- This leads me to believe this is (one of) the authorisation check that failed.

Other relevant info. Safari Version 9.1.1 (10601.6.17)
