Is Tristana's E suppose to work on towers? Potential Bug

So I have noticed that 's grenade toss can be cast on towers, exploding at full charges. I doubt this was intended by Riot as the only champion to my knowledge that can use an ability on a tower is Azir, compensating for his soldiers decreased time near turrets. I figured that I would bring it up as a potential bug or oversight. Enjoy it while it lasts, or revel in the strong split-pushing power!

This is not a bug. This is an intended mechanic. Please read the patch notes first before you assume anything. It clearly states it in the patch notes that it is castable upon towers and when on towers, it has an increased explosive radius than if it were on another unit.

It even explodes with an increased radius when on a tower.

Read the patch notes or the ability text lol. It even has special interaction with turrets, a larger explosion radius
