Trundle's Bite

Trundle's Q states: After biting his target, Trundle gains bonus attack damage for 8 seconds and reduces his target's attack damage by half that amount for the same duration.

But this is not the case for minions or monsters. Either fix the tooltip or fix the spell? o.O

I ask this because it would make his early jungling much easier and he would/should become a new pick priority due to the reduced damage he takes from monsters.
