Black shield still does not negate the asleep effect. So fix it like you said you did.

The patch notes state that _removing _ the drowsy effect will now stop the target from falling asleep. Since black shield does not remove debuffs, black shielding someone after they have been hit by the bubble will behave as before.

If you disagree with the drowsy mechanic and its interaction with black shield, that's another discussion.
