Strange red silhouette of champions appearing in the fog of war

I have no image or screenshot of this bug, but last game I noticed the enemy mundo was out of vision range over the dragon pit wall, but I could see a strange red and black silhouette showing exactly where he was. It could have been a bug to do with dead man's plate , since it was a red that was the same color as the trail it leaves behind.
