Getting kicked from Ranked lobbies

So every so often a few times every 2 weeks or so i get kicked from lobbies saying I've failed to select a champ even though it just became my turn to select or i select a champ and it still kicks me at the end of the countdown saying the same thing even after locking my champ and talking to my teammates. I'm confused as to why this happens and find it very annoying and frustrating as i get 5-10 minute waits because of it happening. Is there an explanation to this?
