So i was waiting to see what lane was open i had 15 seconds left then someone said mid and adc i had 10 seconds left before i could even choose a champ it say you have failed to choose a champ and i had about 5 seconds left RIOT PLZ FOX
It's caused by lag spike/packet loss and the client not seeing that someone locked in, so instead of you seeing the lock in the timer just goes all the way down to zero and moves on automatically (meaning the next timer is that much shorter than it tells you).
If someone doesn't lock in and just sits there til the timer runs to zero, it's a good idea to hover a champion just in case this happened, specifically if you have packet loss or lag issues.
