Game freezes

So on my Mac computer i noticed that league has been acting up lately so if I'm just casually walking the game will just freeze and i can't move then it will unfreeze and sometimes if I'm fighting it'll freeze and then i wind up dead please help i play ranked a lot and cause of this issue i got demoted from b4 to b5 again.
