[GAMEPLAY] I haven't received a skin from a loot box in months

What I have been receiving is nothing but champion shard after champion shard after champion shard. My boxes have gone something like Tryndamere - Maokai - Alistar - Urgot - Gangplank - Elise. I own Ali GP and Elise, I don't like Maokai and I depise Tryn and Urgot.

Now I already know what a response from Riot would look like - "there's nothing wrong with the system; you just have horrific luck" - and that's not an unreasonable assertion. I would have to be quite the tinfoil-hat conspiracy-nutter to believe this is something personal or whatever. That being said, is there no system in place to hedge the loot table for people who have seen nothing beyond more and more blue essence in their last several Loot boxes? Up until today I've remained at a level of "depressed this is happening, but what can I do"; today, when it happened yet again, my stance upgraded to "genuinely upset about what's happening". How long is this chain going to last?

Well it is a random thing for each person, so it really is just ur luck haha. In a few months you'll probably get some skin shards. But look at it this way: You're getting more blue essence to pay for mastery lvl 6-7s on ur champs. I don't really think there should be a "hedge" as this was a gift to us from Riot. Remember Riot doesnt really make any money aside from RP purchases. The loot system technically does lower the potential money they'd get. So it's basically like a business giving a free sample and then the consumer demanding for more of it instead of actually buying stuff from the company.

Oh I know, and I don't mean to come off as ungrateful. But it's still more-than-a-little frustrating/depressing to listen to others chirp about their great acquisitions, while I continuously get the proverbial middle finger from RNGesus. If this were two or three times, then fine: a bit of bad luck, it'll pass, etc. etc. But this has been non-stop for months, which is frankly ridiculous.

I've also put a lot of money into League, so I don't think the free sample analogy works on me lol :P
