So in game my client keeps freezing. I'm able to ctrl-alt-del out of it and sign out to close it down, but other than that I can't doing anything. I can also still move the mouse and there is background soundtrack noise, but i can't hear any in game sound effects and what not. Other than that as far as i know, the game is down at that point. As soon as i restart the client it's fine. This doesn't happen with any other game. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Ive made a similar post like this. From what I can tell it's happening more frequently & to more players.
Probably a hardware error than a game error.
Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date, not ram throttling. Make sure cpu isn't overheated, there are a lot of things you should check before making this post.
So I understand that i posted this a while ago, but the issue continues to persist after all this time even with new driver updates and new hardware and what not. I replaced the thermal paste on my cpu and got a new cooler. Made sure my gpu drivers were up to date. Even cleaned the mobo and all other hardware from dust. Still getting the same results.
