Really Tired of League's Client Issues

So I've played League of Legends since Season 4 (right when Gnar came out), and I've had a bunch of friends experience bugs ever since switching to the new client. Whether it be champ select bugging out for no reason, rune and mastery pages switching out randomly, or flat out not being able to join the game. After all this time, there's really only one thing I can say when it comes to League's godawful client:

It's by far, the most inconsistent piece of software I've ever dealt with in my entire life.

Take for example, the problem that's spurred this discussion. Not even 24 hours ago I was playing games just fine. Champ select, loading screen, all the way to nexus explosion without any issues. Today, I wake up, log on, try and play some games with my friends and what happens? Champ select goes fine, and I never see the loading screen. the client closes, then reopens and gives me the "Reconnect" button. Clicking this button does absolutely nothing. The game itself never even began to load, and no amount of ending the league processes and trying to full reset, switching internet connections to make sure it's fine, turning off the firewall and anti-virus, or full-repairing the game files has done anything to help.

I'm now sitting on 5 remakes, without penalty so far but I haven't logged back in to check the last one, and I don't think I've ever been this frustrated with your game, Riot. This is the one game I consistently play on my PC, despite it's issues. It's one thing if the game itself has issues, that's to be expected. But your client? There's just no excuse for this anymore. I could see way back when League was first being made for there to be these kinds of awkward, random issues, but it's 2019. League is one of the biggest games in the world. Why in the name of all that is holy, are the client and the game separate from one another still? I'm fairly convinced if it was like any other game, (ex. Heroes of The Storm, Dota 2), where you open the game first, and join from within it, as opposed to opening the client, then opening the game via the client, 90% of these issues people complain about would never happen.

I know the only response I get to this (if any at all, unlikely as that may be) will probably just be someone saying, "oh, that's definitely your fault. It's something with your connection". Well sorry, I was under the impression that being able to use every other program that requires an internet connection meant I'd be safe to play League today (especially since I can connect to the launcher, the store, and send messages to friends just fine before the game starts!), but I guess I was wrong and I have to shelf it until the magical League of Legends fairy descends to decide to make the game work for me again.

tl;dr This game should not have nearly as many connectivity issues as it does for how popular it is and how many resources Riot now has at their disposal. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix the reconnect loop bug outside of just waiting and praying, any help would be appreciated, though I'll be honest I've spent a good 5 hours looking for solutions to no avail, so at this point the purpose of this discussion is partially just to vent frustrations.

So for now, thanks if anyone actually reads this. I'll be here just quietly asking why Riot can't make a functioning videogame in 2019 til it works and then I'm sure I'll forget all about having this issue and going back to spending money on their game like the disciplined sheep of a human being I am.

Cheers.

You are even getting the reconnect button? I'm stuck with the client telling me everything is fine despite not being able to play anything past champ select.
