Spectating Gnar Scoreboard Glitch

Sometimes, when spectating a game that has a Gnar in it, his picture will disappear from the scoreboard at the bottom of the screen. I noticed it today when spectating my friend. I'm not sure how to reproduce it, but I think it just happens sometimes when he switches from Gnar to Megagnar or vice versa.
