100% CPU usage in 8.15

Ever since the 8.15 update, I can't play League anymore. Every time I enter a game, my CPU usage skyrockets to 100% within the first 10 minutes, and the game becomes a jumpy, freezing, unplayable mess. I had the exact same issue during patch 8.12, and tried to find help but got no answers, though at the time I didn't know it was because of the high CPU usage. When 8.13 came out, suddenly the game worked normally for me again. Now in 8.15, the issue has resurfaced, and I still don't know what to do about it. Last time, I had to sit out the entire patch because the game kept breaking. I got lucky with 8.13, and I have no idea how long this can last, and if it keeps going in the next patch I would have to sit that one out too. I do NOT want to be forced to stop playing because of this.

Same, for some reason since the last patch it never lets me load past champ select. I've tried every single fix I can find, including uninstalling and re-installing.

Actually they do and they're working on a fix but they don't have anything solid just yet which is why they haven't replied.

How do you know this? Have they said it in one of the board posts?

A hotfix for the FPS issues / crashes was pushed to the servers yesterday, are you still experiencing high CPU usage?

I haven't logged into League for a few days now, since I couldn't play due to my CPU usage jumping to 100%. I'll give it a try now and see what happens.
