Kallista Ult

Ok so I just played my first game supporting a kallista. She kept getting mad whenever she ulted and I would just go wherever. Apparently I am supposed to be able to choose where to go, but when she used her ult my screen goes completely blue/grey and I can't see anything. Even if I tried to go where I thought the enemies were, I usually ended up somewhere completely different, I guess because my launch point is her, and she was moving pretty quick.
