First 10 Ranked Placement matches?

Last season i was silver ... and i did my 10 games and i got gold 5 , from silver . but the text said : Please keep in mind that almost all players will start lower than their previous season's rank . Soo why im not silver 5 :> ?

the 10 games were > 8 wins 2 lost
