Practice tool with Zed

I was playing around with zed in the practice tool. At one point I was bored, so I decided to spam my weq combo at the enemy dummy (not moving, standing directly beside it) without a purpose. Then in a few seconds, I notice my q starts hitting from up high and going diagonally to a low area out of range. Every time from a random position to a random location. At one point it even started to spin and just fly out of the map. I was wondering why that could be. Any ideas?

In case it matters, I was using the project zed skin.
