Cursor in game won't input commands

In my recent games i saw i was kind of lagging but my ms was low so I was confused but I just brushed it off , it turns out after I right click to go to a location it won't let me change my direction until I have reached that location . Has this occurred to any of you and if yes have you fixed it and how?
