Jayce switching from cannon into hammer game freeze

When playing Jayce, i casually swap from cannon to hammer form all the time. I noticed this bug where my screen delays and nothing happens for about .4 of a second. I was in a voice chat with my friends and i asked them to hover over me as i swap and some also got some the symptoms. Does anyone else get this bug? ...or is my pc just bad
