Mastery score circle not matching actual mastery score

I was wondering why my mastery score circle (when you hover over each champion in the collections tab) was increasing really slowly, for example, my janna is 300 points away from m4 yet the bar is only filled halfway However, after each game underneath the xp earned circle it actually shows an accurate representation of the mastery earned. I was just wondering if this was happening to anyone else This only started to happen after they changed collections
