cannot use keyboard or mouse during game

I was playing league 8hours ago in ARAM but had no problems but I started a normal game an hour ago but was unable to play the game. first, the keyboard didn't work second I couldn't use my mouse to move my champ or level up my skills. this first started on my account on my Japan server. I tried going into client/General Troubleshooting and perform Initiate Full Repair It still didn't work so I got in my NA account and went into custom games but the same thing happened. I tried Initiate Full Repair and tried another custom game but had the same result. I restarted my computer and Initiate Full Repair then custom games but the result was the same

After playing ARAM today (8hours ago) I stopped to play some other game which already was in my computer but had not installed anything. my mouse and keyboard still work with other software. have no idea how to fix this.

I'm having the same issue and I found out during a live game. Now I think I have a ban timer since I'm 'afk'

Other players were also experiencing something that sounded like this, and Riot has since found out that Discord Overlays were causing the problem. Discord has since released an update that claims to have fixed this problem, however it's possible that it could still be causing the issue. If you use discord, try turning off your overlays.

It's weird that it would suddenly happen after you had been playing, but it's still possible that this could be the culprit. I'd suggest making sure generally nothing else is running while you're playing just to be sure.

You should also be careful about using any other additional apps or modifications, as they can be prone to causing issues, and they're not something Riot supports. You can read more about Riot's stance regarding this here: Third Party Applications.
