Champion bug.

Hello, I was gifted a champion ( ) but I didn't get him, meaning I can't pick him in champion select, and he isn't showing up in my champion roster on my info page. I really like this champion and think he fits great into the current meta, but I can't play him if I can't own him, But I already recieved the gift, it gives me the option to buy him but why would I buy him if I already received it?
