Patching after champion select

Just had a division series game where a teammate appeared to fail to connect after champion select. He connected, but not before our lee sin went "well kat is never connecting gg" and left. Kat connected 10 seconds later and claimed that he was forcibly exited out of the game to patch AFTER champion select. WTF RIOT. This is an easy fix. Force people to patch before joining queue NOT before loading the game. Seriously.
