Xereth almost uplayable because Q wont Charge

Ive tried everything, but his q will start to charge, than half way through make rapid clicking noises and will cancel the charge half way through, still shotting q, butnever getting to max range. AS a side note, his q will charge if its not quick casted but thats litterally the worst way to do it possible when you need to let it loose quickly, as far as i know its only broken in quick cast.
