Patch problem loop (8.1)

So whenever I opened the client, it gives me a window prompt saying, "There was a problem patching league of legends. We'll restore a backup version and try updating again after you restart your patcher." Which then prompts a "RESTART". Which then closes and opens the client. It becomes infinite unless I open Task Manager to end the process.

I have tried both changing the date and time and used the hextech repair tool. Both failed to produce any success.

Anyone else having this issue?
