No Remake?

Just finished a rank game and the mid didn't connect until about 7 minutes in. It even did the whole reconnected spiel. The thing that boggles my mind is the fact that the /remake never triggered. Even when trying it about the time it should have. Did the temporarily turn on the remake system?
