Faulty end of game ranking System (S-, A+, C etc)

League of Legends Match History

I played as the lee sin in this game. I had most damage dealt, most damage taken, second highest gold (by less than 200), over twice the opposing jungler's cs, and 13/22 KP ending 5-1-8 out of a 22 kill game. Now I have no idea what the ranking system is based on, but I statistically played the best and didn't even receive an S- let alone an S or higher which is what I've been trying to get desperately with no prevail DUE TO THIS REASON. Is my account just messed up or what because this isn't the first game I've jungled lee sin and thought i deserved an S without getting one. The most frustrating part was my top laner who went 5-3-3 and didnt do as much or take as much or have as much gold DID receive an S rank. Something is wrong with this system and I think its a bit unfair that it's easier to score an S with some champs/roles than others.

It's working as intended. It's a lot harder to get good ranks with popular champions.

You're not being compared to your team. It's checking your performance against other players that play that champion in that role. You have to do significantly better than the average Lee Sin player to get a good grade.

So what you are saying is that its much easier to get an S with some champs than others? Hence, its much easier to get level 7 mastery with some champs than others. This seems like its not right to me.
