Patch 6.10, Fizz Shark
I mentioned this in a support ticket that I made which also asked a couple of other questions and did not get a response that had anything to do with my question. The question is that, per the patch notes, Fizz's shark will no longer detach from abilities that cleanse slows (for example, Garen's Q). The shark is still detaching when Gangplank eats his orange to cleanse the slow: either the developers missed this ability interaction when introducing the patch, or the patch notes are wrong.
In my ticket, the question I asked: "In regard to the recent patch (6.10) and Fizz's ultiamte being cleansed. I was jungling him in a normal game and I noticed that Gangplank's orange (I think it is his W ability) cleanses Fizz's shark ultimate. Is this working as intended or was that supposed to be changed with the shark no longer being able to be cleansed by abilities that cleanse slows (such as Garen's Q and so forth). I would think this would apply to Gangplank's orange as well and think maybe it was missed in the patch update when the mechanic was introduced by the dev's. Or it's intended to cleanse it and the question is null but figured I'd bring it up in case it was missed.
Here is the response: "As for your concern about Gangplank being able to cleanse Fizz's Ultimate, it's important that we don't make rash balance decisions. Sometimes it appears that a Champion is too strong, when the problem really lies elsewhere. If we immediately fixed the symptom, instead of looking for the cause of the balance issue, our game would be in a much worse state."
How does that response have anything to do with my question?? I'm not asking about balance and just inquiring about the patch note and ability interaction.
