Let The Games Begin! Mission Rewards Bug

I've probably been doing this wrong, but I've been watching for rewards (specifically The Foam Finger of Destiny icon mission) and I haven't received any yet. The mission states, "Let The Games Begin: Watch a live game or a VOD from any global league on http://watch.lolesports.com." I've been watching since around 5:30 pm PST for one VOD and stopped for a while. The started watching again since 8:45 pm PST for a live stream. Am I doing something wrong? I was told my account was set up properly for in game rewards.. but nothing has popped up yet.

It's not a bugg read this :/ On the Watchpage is at the top a tab called "Rewards". You have to go there and enable your account to get the rewards. https://watch.euw.lolesports.com/rewards

Good thing this is clarified in the quest text... Have not activated this before, gonna try again now. [zombie-brand-facepalm]

Edit: this works. Have got 4 games logged as seen now. [slayer-pantheon-rainbows]

i got it to work somehow. didnt watch eu or na games. brazil games seemed to work when i did that thing on the rewards page. When u start to watch a game it should say on the bottom that ur account is approoved to get rewards or something if u get it to work. watched 10minutes(VOD) and it workd. halleluja. lol

EDIT: Works on EU games too. AS LONG AS IT SAYS THAT UR ACCOUNT IS APPROVED TO EARN REWARDS ON THE BOTTOM(caps)

Well good for you. I've tried this today and yesterday, and both days I get the message at the bottom telling me that my accounts approved for rewards... But I still haven't gotten the quest completed. great.

Yes. I watched about 30 minutes of one, and 18 or so of another, while I was eating. Both gave the message, and yet the quest is still uncompleted for me.

Same happened to me. Watched a live, and 3 VODs for more than 15 minutes but nothing happened.

Submitted a ticket and was told that LCK, LPL, LMS, LEC and LCS are bugged.

CBLOL (Brazil) worked for me.

Left the page+Game open for an hour while I did other things (cus I don't care to watch it), didn't work.

I don't even care about the reward, just want it gone from the mission screen.

Guys you have to watch in your region.. I sent a ticket in and found out. Watch NA games or BR games if you're in NA and EU if you're in EU. LCK wont unlock the first reward.

the Riot rep told me its misleading, they didnt seem to know what was happening neither, it might be a bug. They just suggested I try a video of my region. And it worked.. Well not really bc I watched a BR video, but it did work.

Well I didn't try the EU games I tried a BR game and it worked.. Im in NA myself so idk.. the Riot rep told me everyone is watching LCK and its not working so maybe try by your own region or BR. I tried BR bc there werent any NA games yet and it did work and I got the first reward. Now theres a new mission to watch 3 more games and get 250 BE.

same here, I tried multiple things, I watched entire vods on chrome and edge, with no adblock, it says I have it set up properly, but nothing works. the same goes for livestreams

The Watch and Earn mission currently cannot be completed by watching matches from certain regions Based on the information being spread around and my attempt to complete the mission, only CBLOL VODs will allow you to complete the mission at the moment.

I wonder. Is there a single person that has actually gotten the rewards? I've tried several times and nothing. I'm hoping it's just that it takes a day or two to register to your account.

I noticed that some have gotten it to work. It seems that watching one from your region might work. Well, he I go. I'm counting on your NA.

I wonder. If you have two VODs going at once, does that count as two videos or one? Anyone get any tricks to work? I enjoy watching them, but I don't understand Spanish and if only Brazil is working, it's a torture to get through some of these videos.

it's been a week.

I activated functional cookies, disabled all others.

doesnt even seem to work for BR. at least not after watching at least 10-15min or more and wasting an hour on a european match. guess there's not "that" much priority to fix a bug which massively frustrates and wastes people's time.

after all they're watching lolesports. whether they actually want it.. or not.

right?

Same, this type of reward for watching live or vods has never worked ever for anyone I know. Clearer instructions are needed if they intend to blame us for user error like they did b4. We all have been logged in while watching of course.

idk if anyone has this issue still, but just try to watch from each region, and see which gives the pop up saying rewards are set up correctly, im from EU and at least BR worked

Well it didnt work for me but i have a message on the bottom of the screen. It says : "WATCH REWARDS ARE CORRECTLY SET UP FOR YOUR ACCOUNT" . Should it be that way?
