So here's the deal, Vi q has had this bug for quite a while. If you die mid channel you can't use the ability post revive. The only way to fix it is by reconnecting, which is completely unacceptable. I just got reported for ragequitting because I went to go fix the bug and my team lost in the minute and a half i was gone. Riot, this bug has been a thing for almost two years, it has to be fixed.

This was present in PBE and persists after almost 3 years.
My bet is that they don't know how to fix it, this bug has been reported countless times, if they were able to fix it they would have done it.
You can get it working again by doing self-cast and the ability so ALT+Q for Vi. It's a workaround but since it's been reported numerous times and not fixed it's the best we have.
This bug can happen with any champion with a cast time on an ability I believe. Rebinding the broken ability to a new key has worked for me.

So that's why it happened to me.
Luckily it was only a bot game, I haven't had it since. But since I play Vi Jungle whenever I have to Jungle, how exactly do you quit and reconnect? Just in case.
I can confirm that this has been an ongoing problem. I have experienced it myself many months ago and it has been with us all this time.
I think it should stay in the game until her ult gets reworked. Do you know how fking annoying it is? Maybe you main Vi so you've never felt the pain of being having a no skill ult destroy u & u can't stop it T-T

Yeah, this has happened to me on multiple occasions on both Vi and Varus (both of which are pretty reliant on their q)
I'll upvote. I do agree that the problem might be difficult to fix, but breaking the game is breaking the game. fixing it is the job of rito.
