Kog Maw Passive can ruin buffs PBE

I was recently playing Battle Cast Kog on the PBE and discovered that when killing someone with red and blue buff, with your passive damage, upon death timer release Kog appears to possess both red and blue buff; however, neither buff is active just the appearance. When trying to collect a red or blue buff after that, nothing is collected from killing these jungle camps (Except gold and xp of course). I'm not sure if its just the skin or Kog Maw alltogether.

share if you have had a similar experience I have yet to test this with Zyra as well. Thanks
