[CLIENT] Unusable client window boundary bug
Ok this is a bit of a weird one, and yes, I understand it'll only affect a small number of users. But a bug is still a bug. Steps to reproduce below:
- Open the client on a computer running Windows.
- From a different computer, remote desktop into the first computer.
Upon doing this, the screen resolution will automatically adjust to fit the remote desktop session. When this happens, (and depending on the change in resolution, I'm assuming) the client automatically adjusts both its resolution and aspect ratio. Depending on the specifics of the change (how much and in what way the resolution and aspect ratio changed), the client window is then for most purposes completely unusable, as some elements may be rendered outside of the actual boundaries of the window (e.g. the bottom third of the client is now not visible). Going into the client settings (if that button is still accessible after the change) and changing the resolution settings does not fix the issue, as the new aspect ratio of the window boundaries persist. The only fix is to restart the client.
As far as when anyone would ever run into this issue, in my case I had to step out for a moment and brought my laptop with me. I then realized I needed some information I had stored on a spreadsheet at home and the easiest way to retrieve that information was to remote desktop to my computer at home. When I then returned home shortly after, I discovered the then mutilated League client, and was able to reproduce the issue consistently.
