Champions knock up effect

As i watch match games my eye was drawn to those using knock up effects and what seems like a glitch were champions that are hit by a knock up have lingering hang time, sometimes they look like their stuck in the air well other times they seem to fall in slow motion to the ground. and know i dont adjust the speed setting i keep it normal pace.
