Log-in lag?

I can log into the game very easily. The issue comes after i log-in. the screen loads up and i can see the play button but then my entire screen freezes (my mouse doesnt even move). Ill get stuck at this black screen of waiting for the news tiles to load. Ill wait on average 2-3 minutes for the bug to resolve itself.i have a full extra 2-3 log-in time before i go into que. Is this just me? any idea about the issue?
