Champion Select bug

I'm having a recurring problem where I join a game, but once it starts the champion select screen doesn't show up. I am stuck at the home page and if I attempt to join another game it says I can't because I am already in one. I can hear the champion select music in the background but I can't do anything. After the time is up the game doesn't start because I am not there but I am slapped with a time penalty and have to wait to join another game. This isn't an issue of me tabbing out as soon as the game starts either, I am only on the league client the whole time yet it still happens.

I get this a lot too, its annoying and if it doesn't fix its self then you can get long ban times. I found that if you try to join another game it says you already belong to another one. Sometimes if you jump between the store and your profile and joining a queue then it resolves itself, but this needs to be fixed before it affects ranked stats.
