Random Freezing / Crashes

Ever since about patch 9.22 I've had a recurring issue.

I can be playing TFT / SR/ TT / ARAM doesn't matter and my game will just completely freeze.

I can still hear audio but my mouse is frozen and the game appears as a still image. The most I've waited is 10 minutes and no change at all. The most I can do is Ctrl - Alt- Delete and open task manager but all I get is a black screen. Attempting to close League will not work and I'm just stuck completely now. The only course of action at that point is to completely restart my computer and either get back into game and lose because I'm behind or get a leaver buster.

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to these freezes, they happen completely at random and only happen with League. Prior to 9.22 I have never had this issue before.

I'm running Windows 10 on my Desktop and while it's not new by any means I have no problem running League other than the random freezes.
