So I click "Launch" and nothing happens. I restart my computer, finally make it to the login screen, and it says "logging on" for ages, then says can't connect to the server and closes out. I click the game again, click "launch", and guess what? Nothing happens. I restarted my computer once more and it did the exact same thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I had the same problem recently with the 5.5.
Are you guys using any mouses configurator, I found mine actually blocked Leagueoflegends.exe (not joking, just did the test).
after trying reinstall/repair, restart computer and wayyy too many tips...
I'll not mention the "famous" brand but i can tell you it's all light green : close it, then restart your lol launcher ... let me know if this helped

For anyone reading this for other versions of the game (in the future) the number 0.0.1.119 is only for the 4.20 patch, open the latest version whenever possible.
Riot should seriously consider spending a lot of time and money to fix this issue. Nearly everyone I know that plays League has this issue on a regular basis. What good is a game launcher that doesn't launch the game?
Try Re patching your league and it should work . it work for me
I have had this problem for a while and tried many things to fix it. After finding this thread and following Happy Poro's advice, which I was very optimistic about, I have not solved this issue. If I restart my computer and enter the game right away it will launch- but then inevitably the issue is back after a little while. At this point I implore Riot to come up with some official answers here because as "pwnvader360" has said there are many people- even just the ones I personally know- with this same issue.
The Maestro Error pops up when you dont run the Patcher first. Run the game normally, click "Play" first. If you dont do this step, Maestro doesn't start up and the client crashes with that error.

I have the same problem except I cannot seem to find the file you mentioned , it is a different air client release (0.0.1.122)

It could also be an anti-virus issue. My Norton blocks League by default. I have to manually let it through the firewall. But every time a new patch comes in that modifies the executable, Norton blocks it again. It's very frustrating.
