Client doesn't launch

Hi there, my client doesn't want to launch. I've tried uninstalling and when re-installing it doesn't even install League. It only installs the "Riot client," then when I go into the League of Legends folder it just has a bugsplat application in there. I've tried everything. The only workaround I've found is to download an "alternate client" that I found online (then I don't have a friends list and can't talk in pre-game lobby, nor can I see how long I've been in queue)

It's been happening ever since the new patch came out about 2 days ago.

I've sent a ticket to Riot and nothing that they've said works for me. I really don't want to do a clean install of windows...

Anyone else having this issue?
