Gnar E Jump goes BACKWARDS

Experienced this bug the other day. Very strange. I've also seen similar bugs with his boomerang where it doesn't come back in the same direction but goes off in a 90 degree angle away (making it impossible to catch). But in any event, is this E intended behavior?
