Lulu shield disable cait autoattack

I have experienced this twice in normal game. You pick caitlyn as your marksman and enemy team has a lulu as support. When you autoattack, sometime it deals no dmg at the minions and make you fail to last hit. The animation for autoattack is played but the dmg is zero.
