[In Game] Pressing Mouse Button 4 & 5 doesn't register the input

On my mouse, I have additional buttons (mouse button 4 and 5) which are pretty common on gaming mouses, they're like side buttons on your mouse. I have mouse button 4 & 5 bound to attack move (and attack move click). It used to work right as intended before patch 7.10 or patch 7.11. When I pressed by mouse button 4 or 5, it would register my input in-game and allow me to attack move and attack move click. Now mouse button 4 and 5 inputs are not registered in-game. My key binding displays that both mouse buttons are bounded, but neither buttons work when rebinding keys to different functions (in addition to it already not working as intended when you key bind mouse button 4 & 5 to an in-game function). I checked my mouse drivers, and my mouse buttons outside of league and everything works perfectly fine. I did a bit of searching on google if other summoners suffered the same problem, where their mouse button 4 & 5 not working and they were multiple threads that stated the same issue I am having (e.g. Reddit). Some people managed to find a fix my remapping their mouse buttons through their mouse software to their keyboard inputs but its just not the same. Just wondering if you have any insight on the issue. The problem continues to persist on the current patch (V 7.12).

I currently use my Mouse 5 as an item use button (middle bottom slot), to make placing Control Wards or proccing Amulet/FQC easier when I have important use items on my 1-3 keys. I haven't seen any issues after the most recent patch, so not sure if it's something exclusive to that command in particular, or if it's an issue with binding multiple commands to a single key (since attack move is A+click, I believe).

I'm having the same problem. In the client i can bind them as hotkeys but when i load into game they do nothing. it Started a few days ago for me, then i stopped playing for the weekend due to work and yesterday they started working again. But here i am, they're not working today.

I'm having this exact same problem. I've also read something about Windows 10 updates maybe having an effect, which seems more of a coincidence given the latest Windows 10 update has been repeatedly failing for me.

Regardless haven't been able to get league to work with my mouse buttons 4/5 so I went the lazy route like everyone else and simply re-mapped my keys (via Razer Synapse for my Razer DeathAdder).

This is my first time playing league in several weeks so I'm guessing the problem actually started happening around when these threads have been popping up for the past month.
