Slow Motion Bug

Yesterday i was able to play LoL perfectly fine but when i started a ranked match (i wish i hadn't) the game was in slow motion! all the animations, particle effects, movements, attacks, everything was in slow motion. my FPS was fine, my internet was fine since my ping never rose to absurd numbers which was very odd to me. i tried exiting out the game and reconnecting but that didnt help. i even restarted my laptop and that still didnt help. i dont know if this could be the case but before i started LoL today, i ran a windows update that my laptop needed to do so maybe that could be the problem. i dont know. If anyone has any solutions to this problem it would help me out a lot and i'd greatly appreciate it :)
