If you have Time Warner / Spectrum and you're crashing after champ select
So Time Warner / Spectrum customers appear to be having some issues with the client / patcher so I was given a temporary fix for it.
I should mention that if ever you run a fix for this, do not attempt to start an online game right away. Try a custom game, if it lets you play then you're clear to play online again. The fix is only temporary and you'll get an "error 003" about being unable to patch which is when you need to stop and reapply the fix.
What I had to do to get a few games in was delete some folders. So go to your launcher, right click it and press "open file location" which should take you directly to the folder with the client and a bunch of other programs and folders. Find the folder named "RADS" and open it. You SHOULD see 4 seperate folders labeled "league_client" "league_client_en_us" "lol_game_client" "lol_game_client_en_us"
Make sure you're league client is closed
Delete the bottom 2 : "lol_game_client" "lol_game_client_en_us"
Then you're gonna wanna search for Device Manager and open the tab labeled "Display Adapters." Right click the graphics driver, whatever it is, and hit "uninstall."
DON'T CHECK THE BOX LABELED DELETE THE DRIVERS FROM COMPUTER
When you do this your screen may turn black for a few seconds to a minute, it's just readjusting to not having the new drivers and your screen will come back with a weird quality change.
Now reset your computer and that will essentially revert everything back to the way it was, when you open league, it'll patch for a minute and the fix will be complete.
Again this is a BANDAID SOLUTION, it won't cure the disease. I'm currently working through the issues with The FunderFaker on the support site.
