Riot Dodged Me [Client]

So as it seems there are a few client problems with the new 5.6 patch. Of course this was in some way anticipated and expected. However for some reason in the new patch riot seems fond of dodging me in queue. All of a sudden I got an error message stating that an unknown message occurred. Enough time elapsed with me freaking out a bit and eventually stating I was kicked from queue for not picking a champion when in the circumstances I was unable to pick a champion in the first place. The screen froze and there was no indication that it was even my turn, or that for about two minutes one of my teammates had finished picking either. And I think I lost LP for it as well. So in essence I lost LP for something I had no control over at all. This to say the least is a bit disconcerting. So until I can get some resolution I guess I just have to stop playing ranked for a while :/ Is there a way to fix this or at the very least avoid this?
