[CLIENT] The client wont start

So after being able to play league the previous day now I can't even get the client to start. I will get the League logo sometimes and then it will just disappear without loading anything at all. I even uninstalled and tried to reinstall but the client for that won't even load to finish the patch and all of that. Upon a second try at installation I saw that the progress bar before the client itself starts never actually finished and flashes twice on the screen before going away when I try to start it up again :(

I have a similar issue, Riot doesn't know how to fix it nor do they care

Hey, I have the same or a similar issue. Are you running Antivirus software? I noticed that mine was blocking the League process for some unknown reason, as it had never blocked the process before, so I disabled it and restarted. Ran as administrator and my client is currently patching now with seemingly no issues.

I also reset winsock and restarted, but I'm not sure if this helped at all.

Yeah. Same problem I'm stuck with. Getting mad fustrated.

I actually tried the antivirus thing and that seems to be it. The patcher came up just fine. Seems my antivirus was blocking it but I didn't get a notification that it was doing that.
