Champion Select Issue

I entered champion select, but was unable to hover a champion I intended to select as the entire section where the champions would normally be was empty. Instead of the usual squares with the faces of champions, it was all empty, as if the portraits were all removed. I was able to communicate with teammates in chat; we even swapped roles. However, I was unable to ban a champion either for the same reason and got a dodge timer. I was also unable to change summoner spells, runes, and masteries. The slots for runes and masteries were there, but had no text inside them. I could see the summoners spells, but not change them I should also mention I am running the updated client and had no connectivity issues.
