Bard Bug

So I've been playing a lot of Bard and noticed that if you move click in a brush with an enemy ward in it and you are in range of the enemy or their minions Bard doesn't auto-attack like other champs. I find this a useful way of telling the enemy has warded a particular brush. Bard is literally the only support that this doesn't work on to my knowledge.
