Kindreds Marks aren't appearing

I played alongside a Kindred in Twisted Treeline, and no marks appeared in the enemy jungle all game. Somehow the Kindred player got 1 mark, but, with no kills, and no marks appearing on jungle targets, we had no idea how she got it.
